Gilles Bazaille

Co-founder and partner of Aklea since 2009, Gilles Bazaille works in the Tax and Corporate Finance teams. His dual legal and tax expertise in both advice and litigation, combined with an in-depth knowledge of various economic sectors, enables him to provide companies with assistance that incorporates a broad vision and high added value. In particular, he has developed a special expertise in transactions relating to industry, including plastics, healthcare, software, semiconductors, hygiene, packaging, but also distribution, air and land transport. Gilles Bazaille specialises in the areas related to restructuring operations for medium and large companies, particularly in the context of mergers and acquisitions (M&A). He provides his expertise to company managers on opportunities for the purchase or sale of companies and intervenes in equity transactions, in the relationship between shareholders and managers. He is also involved in organising and optimising the tax management of companies in France and internationally, particularly in the areas of VAT, transfer pricing and cross-border flows. He  also intervenes in international legal and tax matters  collaborating with foreign correspondents, members of the international network of lawyers to which he belongs. As an active member of the EM Lyon incubator, of which Aklea is a partnersince more than 10 years, Gilles Bazaille has developed an entrepreneurial approach, particularly in the support of start-up projects and innovative companies.
